Fume Extraction Torches
Welding fume extraction is easy with these extraction torches: simply connected to a fume extraction device, they almost absorb the welding fumes completely – at its point of origin, directly in the process. The extraction torches RAB GRIP and RAB GRIP HE2 as well as the newly developed xFUME® extraction torch line from ABICOR BINZEL are designed to give the welder a clear view of the process and efficiently absorb the welding fumes without affecting the protective gas shield.
Compared to extraction torches from other manufacturers, especially the xFUME® extraction torches are significantly lighter and therefore less tiring for the welder. They are ideal as an overall concept and a perfect system for mobile welding fume extraction with the corresponding extraction devices from ABICOR BINZEL.
Why are fume extraction torches not so popular among welders?
Actually, one would think that every welder thinks about his or her health and automatically reaches for an extraction torch or requests one from their employer. Unfortunately, the opposite is usually the case. Because of their construction with an additional fume extraction tube and fume extraction nozzle, fume extraction torches are noticeably heavier and put additional strain on the welder. Extraction torches from ABICOR BINZEL are significantly lighter compared to fume extraction torches from other manufacturers and enable excellent results. Nobody has to be afraid that the shielding gas could be extracted too much and thus not cover the process sufficiently. The use of the ABICOR BINZEL extraction torch – also in combination with a mobile fume extraction system – is shown at BROMMA Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
