Participation Rules for the Competition „EuroBLECH-Tickets with ABICOR BINZEL“
§ 1 Subject
- The following Participation Rules and Data Privacy Statements regulate participation in the competition "EuroBLECH-Tickets with ABICOR BINZEL" of Alexander Binzel Schweisstechnik GmbH & Co. KG (organiser) and the processing of data collected from the participants.
- By virtue of taking part in the competition, the participants acknowledge and accept these Participation Rules.
§ 2 Eligibility to participate
- Participation in the competition is free of charge.
- A person must be over 18 years of age to take part in the competition.
- Employees of the organiser, their relatives and employees of cooperation partners engaged in creating or processing or involved in the competition are also not eligible to participate.
- The organiser reserves the right to exclude individual participants from the competition if this is necessary to ensure fairness and equal chances with regard to the other participants, especially in cases in which individual participants gain unfair advantages for themselves or offend against these Participation Rules, e.g. increasing their chances of winning through multiple participation under several names / pseudonyms.
§ 3 Conducting the competition
- The competition begins on 19.09.2022 and ends on 16.10.2022. Participation in the competition is only possible within this period. Later entries will not be taken into account in the draw for the prize.
- Participation in the competition is automatic for all eligible participants by submitting the form on the corresponding landing page "Win a EuroBLECH day ticket with ABICOR BINZEL".
- The prizes are determined no later than one week after the competition ends.
- The following prizes will be awarded: 50 EuroBLECH day tickets worth 38,- €.
- The winners will be determined after the closing date as part of a random draw among all participants.
- The organiser is solely responsible for conducting the competition and determining the winners.
§ 4 Procedure
- The winners will be notified by the organiser in writing and will receive their ticket in the form of a voucher code, which must be registered on the EuroBLECH website https://shop.euroblech.com/MBE/EUROB22/Register and entitles the holder to a single entry on one day at EuroBLECH 2022.
- A full or partial cash payment of the prize will not be made.
- If the delivery of the prize notification is not possible due to incomplete or incorrect contact details, the claim to the prize will be forfeited at the discretion of the organiser.

The winners are not entitled to have a prize changed or supplemented.
- Any consequential costs caused due to winning a prize must be assumed by the winners themselves.
§ 5 Warranty
- The organiser reserves the right to end or change the competition at any time due to external constraints without this giving rise to any claims of the participants against the organiser.
- This applies especially in the case of statutory or official decrees, technical problems or changes.
§ 6 Liability
- Notwithstanding the other prerequisites for statutory claims, the following liability exclusions apply for damage compensation claims against the organiser.
- The organiser is liable without limitation for damage caused in wilful conduct or gross negligence.
- The organiser is moreover liable for the breach of essential contract duties caused in minor negligence. Essential contract duties are obligations which must be fulfilled to avoid exposing the contract purpose to risk and to enable the competition to be conducted in the first place, and which the participants may normally trust are fulfilled. In these cases, however, the organiser is only liable in the scope of foreseeable damages typical for the contract.

The organiser cannot be held liable to any further extent.

The foregoing liability limitations do not apply for
– injury to life, body and health,
– a deficiency under a guarantee given for the characteristics of a product,
– maliciously concealed deficiencies. -
Liability under the German Product Liability Act ("Produkthaftungsgesetz") remains unaffected.
- Inasmuch as the liability of the organiser is limited or excluded, this shall also apply for the personal liability of employees, representatives or vicarious agents of the organiser.
§ 7 Data protection
- The organiser collects, stores and processes data of the participants only inasmuch as permitted by law or if the participants agree to this.
- The following data are collected when taking part in the competition: First Name, Last Name and Email Address.

The organiser processes personal data only for the purposes of this competition on the basis of the consent of each participant in accordance with Art. 6(1a) EU-DSGVO. Further data protection information can be viewed at any time at DE/eng/data-privacy-statement/.
The organiser will only use personal data beyond the purposes of this competition if the participant has submitted a separate written declaration of consent. The submission of such a declaration of consent for further use of his/her personal data is voluntary and not a prerequisite for participation in the competition.
§ 8 Concluding provisions

There is no right of appeal.

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply exclusively.
- The organiser reserves the right to change these Participation Rules at any time without special notice. Unless stipulated otherwise by law, changed Participation Rules only apply for new participants and have no effect on participants who took part in the competition before the Participation Rules were changed.
