Join securely – work effectively
Manual welding, or welding by hand, is among the most demanding and stressful activities in metal construction. To join materials securely welders frequently have to work for longer periods in so-called constrained positions. To make this possible over a longer period a welding torch is needed that relieves the welder and provides optimal support during work.
All parameters firmly under control
All parameters must be aligned specifically to one another in order to achieve the required quality under economic aspects at all times during manual welding. Welding processes and torches must match the materials and the welding job, the wire feed and amperage must be coordinated to the thickness of the material and the required result. The welder must make these settings before starting work. In the welding process itself it is important to choose a welding position and a work speed so that the weld satisfies all requirements with regard to strength, corrosion resistance and appearance.
Optimal handling and low weight
The stress for welders is particularly great with hand welding especially. They frequently have to work out of position for longer periods. This places considerable strains on their backs, muscles and joints. An optimal welding torch helps to reduce these stresses and to prevent false postures. For this reason, ABICOR BINZEL works among things with weight-reduced cable assemblies, particularly ergonomic torch handles and easy to change torch necks that were developed specially for the respective application. ABICOR BINZEL is continuously optimising the interface between humans and technology – HMI, the human machine interfaces – so that it supports welders optimally and provides the simplest handling facilities. You will find more information on the subject of welding and health in the fitness manual for welders from ABICOR BINZEL.
